WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH HAND-STITCHING?

Usually the first thing to wear out on a wallet is the stitching. The thread is thin and machine-stitching just doesn't hold up.

We saddle stitch by hand because it's been proven to be 10x stronger than a machine stitch.

A saddle-stitch can also be easily repaired, unlike a machine stitch.

Ultimately, we hand-stitch so you can be confident your wallet will last a lifetime.

"MY WALLET SEARCH IS OVER"

I have a Ridge Wallet which is fine but what I found is that the cards are somewhat hard to put back in and when you slide the cards back in it scrapes the edges of the card and they start to peel off. I only carried 5 or 6 cards at most in the Ridge because it was too tight otherwise. Enter the Lost Dutchman, I got the Finnigan and it has plenty of room for 8+ cards, plus it's handmade in the USA and looks beautiful.

I was 12 years old when I discovered leathercraft. It immediately spoke to me. The ability to express creativity into a raw piece of leather and create something beautiful and durable became my obsession.
